TOM IVEY
Born in Charlotte, North Carolina and moving soon afterwards to the UK, Tom first picked up a guitar after hearing Dire Straits' "Southbound Again".
He is inspired by the music of Peter Green, Robert Cray and UK bluesman Ian Parker. Formally guitarist and singer with blues band The Ruffcuts, Tom decided to go it alone with the newly formed Tom Ivey Blues Band.
Over the summer of 2009 he has been working on his debut 3 track Roadtrain Records EP CD with former WEA International producer Simon Tittley at the Planet Zog Studio in Herefordshire. Additional tracking was done at Studio 24 in Delaware. The EP was mastered by Bill Roberts at Balanced Mastering in Florida.
The EP features two up tempo blues rock stompers, 'Man of Stone' and 'Can't Handle Being With You', and the chilled out title track 'Ease Back'.

Musicians on the EP are :
Tom Ivey - vocals and guitars
Chris Banning - drums
Simon Tittley - bass
